GOOD FOOD
 

Monday to Saturday, our A la Carte Menu is served from noon to 8.30pm. Please note that on Bank Holiday Mondays, we will serve main dishes from noon through to 6pm. 

Sunday (see below) is Roast Day with a fish and vegetarian dish also available.

SPLENDID SUNDAYS
 

From noon, enjoy a very special meal  with Roast Beef, Chicken, Pork and Yorkshire Puddings.

 

In addition to Roasts, vegetarian and fish options are available to order. All served through the afternoon and early evening until 7.30pm. 

 

DRINKS
 

Choose locally sourced Yorkshire cask ales brewed by Leeds Brewery, Theakston and Timothy Taylor's. A wide range of popular lagers, IPAs and ciders also also available. 

 

Wines are carefully chosen to satisfy a variety of tastes, budgets and occasions. And there is an excellent range of cocktails and spirits. 

 

Please note: We do not serve alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. Proof of age is required from anyone who looks younger than 25.

PRIVATE DINING
 

To enquire about availability for parties of 10 or more then please e-mail the team on contact@thesquareandcompass.com or alternatively call the pub on 01423 733 031.

A non-refundable booking deposit of £10 per head is required for parties of 10 or more, please note the booking will not be fully secured until the deposit has been received - this will then be redeemable from your bill on the day. 
We will also require a menu pre-order to be returned no later than the pre-arranged date to help ensure extra speedy service on the day.

Children are welcome to order small portions and will need to be closely supervised at all times.

We can provide recipe information and allergen lists but cannot guarantee our food is free of allergens. Gluten, dairy and nut free options along with substitutes such as soya milk will be available.

A discretionary 10% service charge will be added to bills. All service charge and gratuities go to our team.
