COVID-19 Questions & Answers
Updated Tuesday 4th January 2022
We must all continue to minimise the risk of spreading Covid-19.
Please help us by always following National Guidance.
Stay at home if you feel unwell. Delay your visit if you test positive or someone you have been in close contact with has tested positive for Coronavirus.
And finally, please be as considerate as possible to other guests and our team members. We want everyone to be able to relax and enjoy their time with us.
Answers to key questions follow:
Do I need to book a table?
To avoid disappointment, we recommend booking a table. This is particularly necessary during our popular sessions such as Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays.
Tables for up to eight people can be booked online. Please contact us to arrange a larger gathering.
Do I need to wear a Mask or Face Covering?
The wearing of face masks or coverings is not currently a legal requirement in pubs. But you may feel more comfortable wearing one when moving around the inside of our building - particularly if the pub is busy.
Can I order food and drinks at the bar?
The majority of our customers have enjoyed table service and we intend to keep it for the time being. But we are allowing a limited amount of ordering direct from our bar.
Are enhanced hygiene arrangements still in place?
Please alert a team member if a table or space needs additional attention.
Is Hand Sanitiser available?
Will contact details be collected?
Although not required, you can still use the NHS Track & Trace system to check into our venue. We will continue to display our QR code at the main entrance. Our online booking system also enables us to contact customers if necessary.
How do you ventilate the inside of your building?
To enable air to circulate, we will keep a number of our bar and restaurant doors and windows open.
